The LK-RS4201P 2-master buffered isolated RS485 hub connects two RS485 masters to one or more RS485 slaves. It offers several operating modes - transparent queuing, Modbus protocol queuing, Modbus protocol buffering and one master to many slaves - so masters can be queued automatically to take turns on the bus, or slave data can be buffered for the masters to read. Baud rate and frame format are configurable, as are Modbus address mapping and address filtering, and all three ports have activity LEDs. The master and slave ports are opto-isolated and protected to 15 kV ESD and 5 kA surge. A built-in web interface provides configuration and a serial debugging page, and firmware can be updated remotely over the air.
